Nine people were shot and wounded near the Denver Nuggets’ Ball Arena early Tuesday morning in an apparent drug deal as celebrations for the team’s first NBA championship were winding down, police said.
CBS Colorado reported that thousands of celebrating fans had poured into the streets around the arena after the game.
