Refined Fool of Sarnia has brewed its first batch of Sarnia Light with one or more trial batches still to come as the brew team looks at recipes and considers patron feedback.

Sarnia Light is a four per cent alcohol rice lager that has a classic North American taste, smooth, crisp and crushable.

Cowbell of Blyth, where golfers, boaters, theatre buffs, cottagers and campers blend seamlessly with beer nerds, Smooth Sailing has been selling briskly since its introduction.

Also new-ish and for those glad to be in Ontario during the winter is White Mocha Coffee Chocolate Nitro White Stout made with roasted coffee beans.

It’s new lager is 4.5 per cent alcohol with a recipe inspired by Czech pale lagers.
