Political people, on the other hand… they promise everything under the sun just to get elected. Then once they’re in power, guess what? They forget all their promises. It’s like a magic trick, except instead of pulling a rabbit out of a hat, they pull a disappearing act with the promises they made during their campaign. But hey, at least they provide some entertainment, right? At least until the next election rolls around and we get a whole new batch of promises that are just as likely to be kept as the last ones were.
