Hosted by the late Alex Trebek, Jeopardy! was awarded best game show.
Martha Stewart remembered CNN host Larry King, who she met early on when he was a radio show host in Washington D.C., as a “great interviewer,” calling him “always fair” and “always interesting.” King won best informative talk show host, which was accepted by some of his children.
Elsewhere during the night, best informative talk show went to Red Table Talk, hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith.
In addition to Friday’s broadcast, a separate ceremony will take place on July 17 to recognize Daytime Children’s Programming and Animation, followed by Daytime Lifestyle Programming on July 18.
