Dolce & Gabbana hold first live show since pandemic, inspired by southern Italy’s lighting installations

Their live runway show Saturday with a socially distanced audience of invited guests was the first inside their showroom since the pandemic forced Milan Fashion Week to go mostly digital in recent seasons.

Distressed jeans were bejeweled or embroidered in gold threat for a baroque touch, and paired with silky tops, at times left open.
