Giants’ Daniel Jones visits more spinal surgeons, expected to miss Week 15, could be sidelined rest of year

He’s not expected to be cleared for Week 15 against the Cowboys, per The Athletic, and teammates fear he may miss the rest of the season, according to the New York Post.

Frank Cammisa, who specializes in surgery for spinal disorders at New York City’s Hospital for Special Surgery, met with Jones this week, per Vacchiano.

A source with knowledge of the orthopedic field tells CBS Sports that specialists are likely trying to determine if Jones has suffered ligament damage or potentially even a bruised spinal cord.

Giants coach Joe Judge previously said the Giants would be “very deliberate and cautious” in handling Jones’ return from injury.
