Niagara’s COVID cases continue downward trend; Health Canada opens door to teen vaccinations

On Wednesday, Niagara reported 123 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total for the past seven days to 836.

Public health has clinics scheduled across Niagara through the end of May. Currently, those are open to anyone 55 and older, but starting Thursday people in the 50 to 54 age group will be allowed to book appointments at Ontario.ca/bookvaccine.

People 40 and older can still schedule a jab at a local pharmacy.
