Residential real estate market remains strong despite sales dip | Chatham This Week

The 145 units sold in March is down nearly 14 per cent from March 2021, according to the latest figures released through MLS System of the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors .

The 199 new listings last month, up by 12 from March 2021, was the largest number of new listings added in the month of March in a decade.

Active residential listings numbered 101 units on the market at the end of March, a gain of 29.5 per cent from the end of March 2021.

Months of inventory numbered 0.7 at the end of March, up from the 0.5 months recorded at the end of March 2021 and below the long-run average of 3.3 months for this time of year.
