Meanwhile, Harcharan’s scooter has been found near the Police Lines and it was suspected that Prabhjot might have left it there.
According to information, the murders were committed on the intervening night of April 9 and 10 and Prabhjot’s location was also tracked in Power Colony and nearby Kotla Nihang village around the time of the crime.
Though the relatives of the victim family informed the police that there was no internal dispute or enmity with anyone, sources said Prabhjot was suffering from depression as he couldn’t get an MBBS degree like his sister.
