Vikings’ Dalvin Cook injures shoulder in Week 12 loss to 49ers, will undergo MRI on Monday

The Minnesota Vikings may be without their star running back for a while, as Dalvin Cook was injured late in the third quarter of the Vikings’ 34-26 Week 12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

On a first-down carry with his team trailing 31-26, Cook was tackled in the backfield and stripped of the ball.

Cook missed two games due to injury earlier this season with an ankle iinjury, and was replaced in the lineup by Alexander Mattison in those contests.
