“I don’t think we should be approving something based on what’s defensible, we should be approving based on what protects our residents,” said Port Dalhousie Coun.
“While I understand we want to protect residents, this is going to protect residents,” she said.
The federal Cannabis Act came into effect in October 2018 that legalized the production, sale and use of cannabis.
