London-area cannabis grower rolls out ‘joints for justice’ campaign

Entourage, formerly WeedMD, is also working with Cannabis Amnesty to promote diversity and inclusion in the industry and help marijuana retailers educate consumers about the fallout from the drug’s criminalization prior to Canada becoming the second country in the world to legalize it recreationally in 2018.

The federal government passed Bill C-93 in August 2019 to waive the waiting period and fees for suspension of records of individuals with pot possession convictions.

“However, few have pursued the long and complex application procedure, which has been further delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic,” the Deloitte report said.
