The money’s coming from the Trust’s Outdoor Active Recreation Grant program, and the Village will contribute just under $70,000 to the cost of the project.

Speaking of the CBT, the folks running the Saturday market in Slocan received a $25,300 grant from the Trust’s Farmers Market Enhancement Grant program.

And while the CBT grant will likely be enough, the Village also set aside $2,000 from the Community Development Fund for unforeseen expenses.
